Frequently asked questions
What makes Flora Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress different from a standard latex bed?
It uses four latex layers with two middle cores for adjustable firmness on each side, plus a 2" firm base and a 2" soft top layer. The cover combines organic cotton and wool for temperature regulation and natural flame resistance, and the layers are individually wrapped to reduce movement.
What materials is this mattress made from and what does that mean day to day?
The mattress is built with 100% GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex, an organic cotton cover, and organic wool filling. In daily use, this blend aims to regulate temperature, provide pressure relief, and resist movement between layers for consistent comfort.
Who would get the most benefit from this mattress and who might prefer something else?
The dual-firmness option on queen and king sizes suits couples with different firmness preferences, while the layered design supports a wide range of sleepers and body types. If you want a highly adjustable feel and pronounced customization for each side, it is a good fit.
Is this mattress compatible with an adjustable bed base or a foundation?
Yes, it is compatible with adjustable bases and can also be paired with an optional hardwood slatted foundation for added support.
How does the dual-firmness feature work for different sleepers on the same bed?
The two middle cores can be configured to different firmness levels (firm, medium, or soft) so each side of the bed can be tailored to the sleeper’s preference, providing personalized comfort across the surface.
The Flora 10" organic Dunlop latex mattress combines premium, certified organic materials with a layered design that adapts to a wide range of sleepers. Four latex layers provide customizable comfort, including two middle cores that let you tailor firmness for each side of the bed. A 2" firm base layer supports deep compression, while a 2" soft top layer helps reduce surface pressure points, all encased in a breathable organic cotton cover quilted with organic wool for temperature regulation and natural flame resistance.
All layers are individually wrapped to minimize friction and movement between layers, ensuring consistent comfort and durability. The wool filling enhances temperature control, while the cotton cover adds softness and breathability.
